NEWCASTLE, OKLA.—Richey Insurance Agency of Blanchard recently donated $10,000 to Shiloh Christian Academy. The gift will be used to fund the Lorene Brandon Scholarship for Children, a needs-based scholarship that covers tuition for two Shiloh Christian Academy students for the 2021-2022 school year.
Richey Insurance is an American Farmers & Ranchers (AFR) Insurance agency owned by Brian and Karesa Wells. The Lorene Brandon Scholarship was created in honor of Karesa’s late grandmother.
“This scholarship encourages both education and personal growth in our community’s young people,” said Brian Wells. “We are pleased to honor Lorene and her love for children in such a productive way.”
Shiloh Christian Academy is a kindergarten through sixth grade classical Christian school in Newcastle. The Academy is currently in its fourth year.
“We believe in the mission of Shiloh Christian Academy,” said Wells. “We are excited to watch the Academy grow in size and scope in the years to come.”
AFR Insurance encourages AFR agencies across Oklahoma to give back to the communities they serve. The Wells look forward to continuing their support of Blanchard and the surrounding communities.
