Julie Tarp joined the American Farmers and Ranchers Cooperative team in early 2023 as the executive assistant to the state president.
In this role, Tarp provides support to the Farm Organization and is responsible for a wide variety of complex and confidential situations and, whenever required, provides clerical and administrative function assistance.
Tarp attended Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colorado. After returning home to Oklahoma, she worked as a sales representative for eight years at AT&T before becoming a land tech at Chesapeake Energy for five years then transitioned to administrative assistant for Love’s Corporate Headquarters for three years.
Julie and her daughter Savannah have resided in Edmond, Oklahoma since 2010. They enjoy shopping, eating out, bowling and spending time with their Great Pyrenees rescues Gary and Buster.
