Jamie Goodson joined the American Farmers and Ranchers Cooperative team in early 2021 as the executive assistant to the state secretary.
In this role, Goodson aides in the organization and management of AFR county and local organizations, including helping new locals establish their non-profit status and existing counties and locals maintain their current non-profit status.
Beyond her work with county and local organizations, Goodson will help with all aspects of state convention planning and will manage candidate and delegate paperwork for both state and local conventions. She also assists the state secretary with corporate audit requests and the tasks associated with the mutual company secretary role.
Goodson has served AFR for four years in agency relations and customer service. In that role, she worked with the AFR agency force across the state. She will carry the relationships she build in agency relations to her new position with the Cooperative.
Prior to her time with AFR, Goodson worked as an office manager for more than 10 years. She also owned and operated a childcare center for eight years.
Goodson is an Oklahoma City native and attended Oklahoma City Community College. She holds an insurance license with property and casualty lines of authority.
