Scott Blubaugh is the president of American Farmers & Ranchers/Oklahoma Farmers Union, a membership organization representing farmers, ranchers and rural citizens. In addition to his position with OFU, Blubaugh operates a diversified 3,500-acre family farm and ranch.

As president of Oklahoma Farmers Union, Blubaugh leads the organization in all legislative efforts, from navigating issues at the Oklahoma State Capitol to representing OFU’s grassroots, member-developed policy on the regional and national stage. Blubaugh also manages a full roster of rural education and agricultural programs and serves as a spokesman for rural issues.

Scott is a passionate advocate for America’s family farms. He has testified before the U.S. House of Representatives regarding concentration in the agriculture industry, market volatility and supply chain disruptions. He has also appeared on television in support of the independent agriculture industry.

Blubaugh is a graduate of the Oklahoma Ag Leadership Program. He serves National Farmers Union as a member of the NFU Executive Board of Directors. He has also testified before the U.S. House of Representatives and served as an agricultural and rural community advisor for U.S. Congressman Richard Gephardt of Missouri.

Scott and his wife, Lisa, have been married 35 years and reside on the Blubaugh family ranch near Tonkawa, Okla. They grow wheat, milo, soybeans and high-performance purebred Angus cattle. They also serve their rural community through the Blubaugh Insurance Agency. They have two sons and three granddaughters.
