Jim Pilkington, a native Oklahoman, has been the Northeast District Field Representative for American Farmers and Ranchers since 2014. Jim is a graduate of Beggs High School and was member of the Okmulgee County Spring Livestock Show committee from 1975 to 2018, in which he also served as president the last eighteen of those years.  He received the Oklahoma State FFA Degree in 2001 and the Honorary American Degree in 2011.
Jim is a member of the Oklahoma FFA Foundation, past member and president of the Oklahoma FFA Alumni Council 2012-2020, and Honorary Chapter FFA recipient from Beggs, Sapulpa, and Adair FFA chapters. Since 2010 he has chaperoned the Oklahoma FFA Convention Chorus.  For 2020-2021 he was awarded Region II Outstanding Cooperation Award and in 2022 the AFR Cooperative Champion Award.
Jim continues to serve his community as the President of the Lone Star School Board which is the largest dependent school district in the state. He is married to Carla and they have three grown children and six grandchildren.  He enjoys serving others and being involved with FFA activities at the local and state level.  The last day of his senior year his Ag teacher, Larry Harvey, told the class that wherever we make our home to try to give back to the local FFA chapter because someone has done that for you. His goal is to lead by example and to inspire our youth so that they will in turn give back to future generations.
